


Jam Sessions are often the highlight of the festival for so many of our musical guests.
Bring your instrument to the Social Club area… even sheet music if you like, but it’s more fun and organic to play music with others without any books, notes or having to refer to tiny mobile screens searching for chords and lyrics.
In the past, songs were handed down generation to generation through active interaction, listening and effective communication. Regardless of any technological advances, the act of singing, playing music and spending time with like-minded souls really hasn’t changed that much. Ideally bring a light portable chair (so you can jam anywhere), your acoustic instrument, a smile and a couple of songs to share!
Bush dance celebrates traditional folk music and dance. Always popular for its community, connections and just a whole lotta of fun – a wealth of experience holding dances in addition to myriad other community musical events.
They will be holding a workshop in the morning to get you warmed up.are highly skilled musicians playing traditional Australian folk music, sea shanties, jigs and much more. All up, it’s going to be a great evening of music, dancing and frivolity.
