
Getting To Sandford
Sandford Village is located 5 km south of Casterton in southwestern Victoria. The Recreation Reserve, where the festival takes place, is approximately 500 meters from the village centre.
The festival is about a 4-hour drive from Melbourne and 5 hours from Adelaide. For directions, please refer to the Google Map.

🏕️ Onsite Facilities
- Camping: Available for pre-booked attendees.
- Parking: Including accessible spaces.
- Bar: Alcohol is available for purchase; BYO is not permitted.
- Food Vendors: Offering a great variety of cuisines.
- Craft Stalls: Range of handmade goods.
- Amenities: Drinking water refills, toilets, play area and First Aid.
- Payment: Card/EFTPOS accepted; no ATM on site.

- Ticket: Digital or printed to exchange for a wristband.

- Warm Clothes & Raincoat: Even sunny days can turn chilly.
- Sun Protection: Sunglasses, hat, and sunscreen.

Limited hotel, motel, and B&B options are available in nearby Casterton. It’s advisable to book early to secure your stay.
⛺ Camping Guidelines
- Respect: Be considerate of neighbors and the environment.
- Supervision: Campers under 18 must be with an adult over 25.
- Noise: Keep noise levels down, especially during the night sessions.
- Access: Do not block roads or pathways; follow volunteer directions.
- Generators: Not permitted.
- Gas Bottles: Must comply with Australian Standard 2030.
- Glass: Strictly no glass containers allowed.
- Do not set up under large gum trees.
🔥 Campfires
- Ban: Due to the time of year and the potential catastrophic consequences of a wildfire in the camping area, there is a blanket ban on open fires in the festival or camping areas.
- Gas BBQs: Gas-fired BBQs are allowed except on days of total fire ban.
- Non-Smoking Zones include all under cover areas and the food precinct.


🐶 Dogs
- Allowed: Dogs are permitted under strict conditions.
- Rules: Dogs must be restrained at all times, kept away from food areas.
- Clean-Up: Owners must clean up after their dogs.
- Failure to comply may result in removal from the festival and a ban on dogs at future events.
