The Drongo and the Crow
Three musicians walked into a bar … and The Drongo and the Crow was born. They salvage the lost songs of post-1788 Australia and delivered a high-energy tour through the convict towns’ seedy underbelly and the rivers, roads and rails of early Australia. Accordion, drums, bass, violin, mandolin and autoharp blend into a rich stew of colonial songs and contemporary favourites, served with a side-order of history* explaining the context of the song.
